1. What is the solution to the system of equations?

3x - 6y = -12
x -2y = -8
(a) Use the substitution method to justify that the given system of equations has no solution. Show all work!
(b) What do you know about the two lines in this system of equations?

So we can easily get x for the second equation.
x-2y=-8
add 2y to both sides so now u have
x=-8+2y or x=2y-8
now we have to change the other equation to x.
