Check out the three cups. Light behaves differently when it meets each cup. Use the words opaque, transparent, and translucent to describe each cup. In your own words, explain how light waves behave when they encounter each cup.(there is a clear cup, a green transparent cup, and a blue opaque cup)

the clear cup is translucent to the light and the light waves pass right thru it, the green cup may allow light waves to pass thru it but wont allow the green spectrum due to it being absorbed, the light waves that strike the opaque blue cup stop at there tracks but some of the light is absorbed as blue light
