If you need to make a piece of text blink in PowerPoint, then the Animation option or Tab is where you would be required to click. Once this option is selected, a list of animations style will pop up. Click more and then continue to click on the Color pulse animation style. This one style will make your text blink.

To apply a motion effect between the exit and entry of every slide, you’ll be required to select the Transitions tab. You can select one of the available transition slides.
