Robert Johnson made those contributions to blues music. A very prolific musician, his 1936 and 1937 albums are his masterpieces and he has been hailed by some musicians as the most important blues musician that ever existed. There is even a popular legend stating that he sold his soul to the devil in order to get such an extraordinary talent.
