Let us assume that x be the scalar multiple .

Thus

Number of monkeys = 7x

Number of parrots = 13x

Number of snakes = 5x

Thus the equtaion becomes

7x + 13x + 5x = 125

25x = 125


x = (125)/(25)

x = 5

Thus

Number of parrots = 13x

= 13 × 5

= 65

Therefore the number of parrots are 65 .
