The volume is the product of the linear dimensions. Likely you will need a calculator for this. You may as well have it work the whole problem. (see attachment)

If you want to work it by hand, the recommended way is to convert the mixed numbers to improper fractions.

... V = (2 1/4 m)(7/8 m)(1 1/2 m) = (9/4)(7/8)(3/2) m³

... = (9·7·3)/(4·8·2) m³ = 189/64 m³ = 2 61/64 m³
