Explanation:

This is one of the easier things to do so definitely learn how to do it.

You just start by taking the first number in each parenthesis (F) and then multiply. 2x by x is 3x^2

Then take the outer (O) number from both problems, so the leftmost and rightmost number. 2x times -1 is -2x

Then take the two inner (I) numbers, 3 and x. Multiply and get 3x

Then take the last number in each parentheses (L) which is 3 and -1, get -3
