The spheres interact with one other. For example, plants (biosphere) produce oxygen (atmosphere) from carbon dioxide (atmosphere).

Substances in different spheres are recycled and turned into other phases and forms. This is important cycle and without that, there is no life on Earth.

Motion of air is responsible for water cycle, nitrogen cycle, carbon-cycle etc. The motion of air maintains the temperature on Earth otherwise there would be extreme temperatures in majority of the parts of the Earth making it lifeless.

Thus, without the movement of atmosphere and exchange of gases with other spheres, life would not be possible on Earth and Earth would become desolate.
