For this case we have to simplify the following expression:

12x + 3 - 4x + 7 =

We combine similar terms:

12x-4x + 3 + 7 =

Taking into account that equal signs are added and the same sign is placed, and different signs are subtracted and the sign of the major is placed. So:

8x + 10

So,
8x + 10 is the most simplified form.

Answer:

8x + 10
