The next 3 numbers are 184, 375, and 758. Subtract the numbers (8-3, 19-8, 43-19 etc) you get a trend of 5, 11, 23, 47 and 95, if you subtract those (11-5, 23-11, 47-23) you get a trend of 6, 12, 24, which is just multiplied by 2 (6 x2 is 12, 12x 2 is 24). You can complete that by multiplying by two. You’ll notice that compared with that on both sides you’ve got 6, 12, 24, 48, and on another side you’ve got 5, 11, 23, 47 (one side is smaller by 1).
