Explanation:

7 + 6 × 1 ÷ 4

Use PEMDAS, which menas we need to multiply and divide before we add and subtract.

7 + (6 × 1) ÷ 4 = 7 + 6 ÷ 4

7 + (6 ÷ 4) = 7 + 1.5

= 8.5
