Since power loss is proportional to the square of the current, the loss ratio is the square of the current ratio:
... ((1000 A)/(10 A))² = 100² = 10⁴ . . . ratio of power losses

Please note that the voltage drop in a 1 Ω line carrying 1000 A is 1000 V, the nominal voltage impressed on the line. Hence it would actually deliver no power at all.
