I ask customers if they’d like to TIP me. Do you agree with that?

Although you have good intentions, asking for a tip is not very polite. If someone feels like you have given them exemplary service, then they will voluntarily give you a tip. You may want to stop asking customers this question, as it may prevent them from voluntarily giving you tips in the future.

I agree that customers should tip people because waiter's and waitresses work so hard on a very low wage and when customers tip, it at least gives them a boost for money. Hope this helps!
