Those who protect and serve us—such as police officers and firefighters—are often among some of the lowest-paid careers in the country. Compare the salaries with those of a doctor or lawyer in the same area. According to your research, are police officers and firefighters paid less? Do you feel that the police and firefighters’ salaries are appropriate? Explain why or why not.

I agree tremendously that firefighters and officers alike should get paid more. Although I would have to disagree with the statement that they should maybe get paid more than a doctor. We do not know the shifts they work and they save lives just as much as police officers and firefighters if not more than them. Overall I do agree they don’t get paid the appropriate amount. They save lives and that I feel is more important than let’s say a lawyer.

Yes they are paid less,I do think they should make more there just as important as any other person's job. No I don't they should definitely make more I do think that doctors should be paid more than a police officer or firefighter,but I also think they should get a raise. In conclusion I do think they deserve to make more.
