An exponential decay function has the form y = ka^x where a is between 0 and 1

In the first answer a > 1 so it is an exponential growth function

In the second answer (4/5)^-x = (5/4)^x so again a growth function

In the third answer (8/7)^-x = (7/8)^x so this is an exponential decay function
