The percent error of the number of people who attended the event is 37.5

What is percent error ?

The difference between the estimated and actual values, as compared to the actual values, is called the percent error and is represented as a percentage. Stated otherwise, the percent error is equal to the relative error times 100.

estimated number =50 people

people that showed up=80 people

Difference= 80 people -50 people =30 people

The percent error =30/80* 100

=0.375* 100

=37.5
