➠ -13q - 52 = 7q + 16
Now, we will bring the variable on left hand side and constants on right hand side
➠ -13q - 7q = 52 + 16
➠ -20q = 68
➠ q = 68/ -20
➠ q = 34/-10
As we have 10 in the denominator we can directly put the decimal .
➠ q = -3.4
∴ The value of q is - 3.4.
