Write the slope-intercept form of the equation of the line given the slope -7 and y-intercept is 4.

y = -3x
y = 11
y = 4x - 7
y = -7x + 4

hello!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We are given:-

\bigstarSlope :- -7

\bigstar y-intercept:- 4

To find:-

\bigstar the line's equation (in slope intercept form)

Slope intercept form looks like so:-

\bigstary=mx+b

where

m -> slope & b -> y-intercept

Plug in the values:-

(instead of m, plug in -7, and instead of b, plug in 4:

\bigstar{\boxed{\pmb{y=-7x+4}}

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

note:-

Hope everything's clear; if you need any clarification/explanation, kindly let me know, and I will comment and/or edit my answer :)

It’s D because slope intercept form is y=mx+b which is y = -7x + 4
