Explanation:

Find AB:

AB² = 41² - 40²

AB² = 81

AB = √81

AB = 9 cm

Area of the trapezium = ½(a + b) × h

Where,

a = 16 cm

b = 40 cm

h = 9 cm

Area = ½(16 + 40) × 9

Area = ½(56)×9

Area = 252 cm²
