Answer: D

Why?

Question tells you that both triangles are similar, but the obvious difference is that one is smaller than the other.

As u can see HA = PD
32 = 16
The difference is 2

By dividing the value of HM (which is 48) u can get the answer 24.

Therefore the answer is D
