Correct question : 4x - 3 = 2x + 7

Solution : 4x - 3 = 2x + 7

4x - 2x = 7 + 3 \\ \\ 2x = 10 \\ \\ x = (10)/(2) \\ \\ x = 5.

Correct Question : 2x + 6 = 7x - 14

Solution : 2x + 6 = 7x - 14

2x - 7x = - 14 - 6 \\ \\ - 5x = - 20 \\ \\ x = (20)/(5) \\ \\ x = 4.
