Liz purchased three trays of tomato plants for $16.47. She also bought ten trays of basil plants. If the ratio of the price per tray of tomato plants to the price per tray of basil plants is 3 to 2, then how much did she spend in total for all the plants? Write and solve a proportion.

PLEASE DO NOT ANSWER SOMETHING LIKE:
a) (0,0), (1,1), (2,8), and (3,27).

step-by-step explanation:

0^3=0

1^3=1

2^3=8

3^3=27

in effect, the exponential equation for this would me y=3^x. each x-coordinate cubed is giving the y coordinate, so a is your answer! :)

Thank you! ^^

Answer:

53.07$

Explanation:

I calculated 2/3 of 16.47 and got 10.98. I divided 10.98 by 3 to get 3.66.

3.66$ is the cost of 1 tray of basil plants.

Then I multiplied 3.66 by 10 and got 36.60

I added that to the cost of tomatoes and got my answer

I hope I did it right, good luck with your assignment <3
