Explanation:

To find coordinates, we need the equation of the line segment with restrictions. I think you meant to say “line segment” as lines go infinitely in 2 directions and could not be broken up into ratios. Let’s say your segment is 24 feet long. You could then label AB as 5x and BC as x since that is a ratio of 5:1 …………We’d then have an equation

5x + x = 24 … or 6x = 24…..or x = 4 which would make AB = 20 and BC = 4…but this would not give us coordinates of points.
