Answer:

y = (4/3)x.

or in standard form it is

-4x + 3y = 0.

Explanation:

The slope m = (8-4) / (6-3)

= 4/3

Using the point-slope form of a line:

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

We use m = 4/3, x1 = 3 and y1 = 4:

y - 4 = 4/3(x - 3)

Multiply through by 3:

3y - 12 = 4(x - 3)

3y = 4x - 12 + 12

3y = 4x

y = (4/3) x

or in standard form it is

-4x + 3y = 0.
