Answer:

y = 2

Explanation:

Slope that passes through two points, (10, y) and (3, 4) =
m = (y_2 - y_1)/(x_2 - x_1).

Where,

(10, y) = (x_1, y_1)

(3, 4) = (x_2, y_2)

m = -²/7

Plug in the values

(-2)/(7) = (4 - y)/(3 - 10)

(-2)/(7) = (4 - y)/(-7)

Cross multiply

-2*-7 = 7(4 - y)

14 = 28 - 7y

7y = 28 - 14

7y = 14

Divide both sides by 7

y = 2
