B. Appeasement
In 1938 Hitler wanted the Sudetenland taken from Czechoslovakia and annexed to Germany. This part of Czechoslovakia held a large population of German people’s,
England and France diplomats met in Munich Germany, signing agreement to allow the annexation thinking Hitler would be appeased.
Hitler was emboldened to continue military build up and planning for all out war.
Had there been support for Czech resistance to giving up land, it is speculated Hitler may have reduced his ambitions.
