PLS HELP!!: A rectangular garden measures 3 feet by 6 feet. The gardener wants to triple the area of the garden by extending both the width and length by the same distance . What should the dimensions of the new garden be?

Answer: 9ft by 18ft

so what you do is easy 3•3=9 thats how you get 9ft and 6•3=18 and thats how you get 18ft.
