Sophia works in a clothing store and earns $40 per day. She earns an extra $5 for each outfit she sells. If Sophia wants to earn at least $70 per day, which inequality shows the minimum number of outfits, n, that she should sell?

40 + 5n ≤ 70, so n ≤ 6
40 + 5n ≥ 70, so n ≥ 25
40 + 5n ≤ 70, so n ≤ 25
40 + 5n ≥ 70, so n ≥ 6

The answer is D

It is D because she makes $40 dollars a day and makes $5 dollars for every outfit she sells. She wants to make at least $70 per day, so it would be the greater than or equal to sign. The minimum outfits she should sell is 6 because she makes 5 dollars every outfit she sells. 6x5 is 30 plus the $40 dollars she makes a day equals $70 dollars all together.
