Given:

The points are (0,3) and (1,-1).

To find:

The equation of line passes through these points.

Solution:

Standard form of a line is

Ax+By=C

We know that, if a line passes through two points
(x_1,y_1) and
(x_2,y_2), then the equation of the line is

y-y_1=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)(x-x_1)

The line passes through (0,3) and (1,-1), so the equation of the line is

y-3=(-1-3)/(1-0)(x-0)

y-3=(-4)/(1)(x)

y-3=-4x

Adding 4x and 3 on both sides, we get

4x+y=3

Therefore, the standard form of the line is
4x+y=3.
