The answer is C. (7,1). You can add the two equations together and the y’s will cancel out since they are opposite signs and you are left with 2x=14. Then from there you can divide both sides by 2 and get x=7. Now at this point only one option has 7 as the x-value, but if you want to solve for y you can plug 7 I or one of the equations for x, ex: 7-y=6, and you would get y=1 as your answer which fits with option C.
