y = - 3x^(2) + 18x + 10 \\ (d)/(dx)( - 3x^(2) + 18x + 10) \\ - 6x + 18 = 0 \\ - 6x = - 18 \\ x = 3

The axis of symmetry for parabola is x = 3.

Using derivative to solve for axis od symmetry is easier.
